    Mr. Duden is the Founder and President of Occasio and its affiliated entities. He oversees the investment portfolio from identifying asset acquisition opportunities to property liquidation strategies. Mr. Duden has spent his career in banking and finance and devoted the last 25 years to real estate finance and investments. Prior to founding Occasio, Mr. Duden was the President and co-owner of National Mortgage Network, a nationwide residential and commercial mortgage bank. Mr. Duden majored in business while attending the University of Denver and has served his community as past Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Foundation.

  • Chuck HarkinsChief Risk Officer

    Mr. Harkins is the Chief Risk Officer for Occasio. He is responsible for the creation and implementation of our proprietary risk, pricing, and valuation models. He oversees the policy and procedural aspects of risk analysis, due diligence, and investor reporting. Mr. Harkins brings over 17 years of real estate finance and analytics experience to Occasio. Prior to joining Occasio, Mr. Harkins was the Senior Vice President of Lending Operations and Capital Markets for Option One Mortgage, an H&R Block mortgage banking subsidiary. Mr. Harkins earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Cal State University and completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School.

  • Alan BaronDirector – Institutional Acquisitions

    Mr. Baron is the Director of Institutional Acquisitions for Occasio. He is responsible for new market development and implementation for our clients in the Single-Family- Homes-for-Rent market. He manages the single point of contact channel we have set up between the Realtor community and the Acquisitions departments of our Institutional Investors. Mr. Baron brings over 26 years of real estate development, management, finance analytics and marketing experience to Occasio. Prior to joining Occasio, Mr. Baron was a director with The Irvine Company, Donahue Schriber and had done Development projects of his own in Retail, Office, Marina and Condominium projects in the US and in Mexico. Mr. Baron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cal State University, Chico and attended the USC Marshall School of Family Business program.

  • Brian ChristianAsset Disposition Manager

    Mr. Christian is the Asset Disposition Manager for Occasio. He supervises all contractor and realtor vendor relationships to ensure the successful rehabbing, remodeling, and selling of our investments. Mr. Christian has spent 27 years in residential construction and finance. Prior to joining Occasio, Mr. Christian was the Chief Operating officer and co-owner of National Mortgage Network. He is a licensed real estate agent with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of residential construction and development.
